I talked to my bank today. Apparently there was a "power outage" at the check process facility which has delayed the posting of my paycheck. The branch is faxing over a copy of the deposit slip to the main service center for research purposes. Now what really ticks me off is that I called the branch office to inquire about this and they didn't tell me about the power outage. They just said they couldn't help me and that I needed to talk to the customer service line. UGH! Just by telling me that there was a power outage could have saved me 30 minutes on the phone with the customer service people just trying to get to the right department....
