Dyed in the Wool

So I decided to shake things up a bit in my life and decided that the place to start is with my hair color...at a colleague's suggestion, I went for gunmetal grey.

It started off with them bleaching my hair.

This was not a fun process because it burned like hell...and I had to sit there for the longest time while all of the color was sucked out of my hair. This left me pretty much blonde which was an interesting look for me as you can see. This is after I washed the bleach out of my hair and goatee.

After this they put in the hair dye. I wasn't expecting it to be purple but sure enough it was...and it burned again. I had to sit there for 10 minutes while my hair soaked up the color.

Finally...the big reveal. Not sure how I feel about it. Not sure if I am going to keep it this way. I will for a while because I paid through the nose for it but I'm still adjusting to this change. And it's kinda scary...maybe when my natural color starts to come in it will enhance it some and make me not so uncomfortable...

Looks awesome! I liked the blonde and the gray. You have the right skin tone to pull off both colors. I wish I had the skin tone for hair color like that, but sadly don't.

Bravo! :)

I also like the blond and the gray-- I think that a picture for the gray that doesn't have the light shining quite the way this one does will help, but you look great!

I like it, it looks really cool! I want to see it where there's light tho!

The blond was nice, too. The main thing is whether you'll be happy with it as time passes.
